This issue (Mayl) of the DEAF BAYOU e-news dedicates to all mothers in honoring Mother’s Day as observed throughout the world.  The Mother’s Day holiday, as observed today in the United States, celebrates motherhood generally and the wonderful contributions of mothers to society.  It falls on the second Sunday of each May.

 

Editor Dan’s Sunny Florida Vacation:  Editor Dan traveled 30-hour jpurney throughout sunny Florida and met and invited as guest by 79-year young Dr. Vernon, ex-profesor of West Maryland College by the Atlantic Ocean at his last day of journey.  A 60-photo show will be scheduled to distribute on Monday, May 5th…Stay tuned!

 

Tom Peters & his Gang:  At the LADBC annual deaf-blind picnic, Tom Peters of Connecticut, guest speaker gave his presentation to inspire all attendants on Saturday, April 19th.  A 101-photo show of his 4-stay in Cajun Country will be scheduled to distribute on Monday, May 5th…Be on the lookout for the show!  Stay tuned!
