ILLY, the Deaf-Blind Clown

It has been said that Lafayette, LA is home to a high percentage of individuals with Usher Syndrome.  That fact holds true as was shown to a group that traveled  down to Lafayette on April 16 and 17.

The name Lafayette has prompted this silly clown writer to call it Laffville, USA because so much fun happened down yonder!

The group that arrived in Laffville was Peachy Pozo, Couzzy Cozo, Melly Ipozo, Harvey Hozo, and JoLooey Clozo.  We all met our brother Frenchy Fozo in his beloved city, Laffville, USA!  We also met this wonderful lady who devoted her time to make tee shirts for Frenchy, Peachy and Melly plus two others who were unable to get to Laffville.  Those other two were Greeny Gozo and Richie Rozo.  This wonderful lady goes by her simple name of Toni Todd!  It was a great pleasure meeting Ms. Toni who by the way made ole ILLY laugh in spite of himself!

We all had a wonderfully blessed time with lots of seafood meals, desserts, and tons of laughs and hugs!

Thursday, April 17^th after ILLY arrived and the LAST of the group to do so, we all went to a seafood restaurant where Couzzy Cozo had his ice cream dessert stolen by Peachy Pozo!  Pozo had a good ole time watching Cozo look high and low for his ice cream!

Friday, April 18^th the group went way out yonder in the Laffville boondocks to take a boat ride on one of 'em there swampy waterways and in the good ole rain, too!!  The boat was slow and full and we all saw this here giant Crocodile gobble up Frenchy Fozo!  But lo and behold, mighty Melly Ipozo saved the day by wrestling the croc to show her woman power!

We all went to another seafood restaurant where we all had lots of food to eat and more fun!  Pozo got in trouble though when he stole a sidekick pager from a SSP and another SSP took the pager from Pozo and hid it!  The SSP whose pager was stolen was one unhappy camper until her husband calmed her down by giving her the pager!

Saturday, April 19^th was the BIG picnic.  Mr. ILLY went crazy that day and he was rushed to get into costume and have fun with the crawfish eating folks!!  He had very little time to get any crawfish in his gut.

After JoLooey Clozo and Coussy Cozo did they speeches, ILLY got up in front of everyone and did his pantomine skit with the house falling down with laughter!

Sunday, April 20^th Melly Ipozo and Harvey Hozo left Laffville early in the morning with Couzzy Cozo leaving that afternoon.  JoLooey Clozo had left Saturday afternoon.  So with everyone gone, Peachy Pozo and Frenchy Fozo had some time to themselves.  Pozo left Monday morning!  Again being the LAST to do so!

Well, as you all can see, this was a very exciting weekend for all us OZOs!  We had so much fun!  ILLY will wanna go back next year!!
