This issue (December) of the DEAF BAYOU e-news dedicates to our LoUiSiAna’s e-newsletter, The DEAF BAYOU e-news for its entering the historic milestone of Third-Volume of the publication which was first published on December 1, 2005 and distributed to mass of deaf, deaf-blind, & hard of hearing community citizens VIA e-mail. The DEAF BAYOU e-news serves as an independent subscription, created and founded by Dan Arabie, CEO/Editor. The purpose of the DEAF BAYOU e-news is to strongly state our needs in sharing with the diverse of deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing citizens, and especially 24K ‘Golden Hands’ interpreters in our community to KEEP DEAF  ALIVE.

 

In addition the Editor in heartfelt, thanks to all readers in accepting being our subscribers that has now spreaded to more than 23 states PLUS Canada!  Without YOU, it would be impossible to run the DEAF BAYOU e-news…THANKS & UPPLAUD (hand-waving in the air) to all DEAF BAYOUers…Our readers: #1…Yay!

2nd Vice President Re-Elected:  Editor Dan was nominated and elected as 2nd Vice President of Affiliated Blind of Louisiana (ABL) Chapter, the state’s largest chapter (600+ members) by acclaimed votes for two consecutive terms, and earlier, had collaborated in part of playing an important role adding a first ever term – “deaf-blind” into its constitution; later was passed by the measurement of bona-fide members.
