The DEAF BAYOU e-news had added a new column for the education purpose given by contributing writer and will be sent to mass of subscribers every month. First article of the column will be expected to be distributed on March 10th.

Deep South Cajun Cookin’ will be under construction in the DEAF BAYOU webpage soon sometime in summer time, so you can NOW send me your favorite recipe(s), then I will add your recipe(s) to its webpage with your proud name-mentioned when its webpage is ready later. REAL COOL to share with everybody in learning & tasting Cajun food!

Thanks to readers for recent feedback, the DEAF BAYOU e-news had added a new look to insert table (gridlines) - Future Key Dates to Remember to help deaf, deaf-blind, and hard of hearing community citizens benefiting their better plan ahead of time to mark calendar for their enjoyable events, as well as, all organizations won’t have conflict on the same day with other organization as planned.

This issue (March) of the DEAF BAYOU e-news salutes and dedicates to Louisiana Deaf Legendary, Max Ray, 75, who passed away earlier (See picture BELOW).

What an electrifying moment for two (2) great legacy ladies: Pauline Wood & Seimone Augustus! Last Sunday Pauline Wood sang National Anthem in the front of near-sellout crowd (10,074 fans) in the reigning National player of the year, Seimone Augustus’ final game (115-17 in her LSU career!) at the Pete Mavarich Assembly Center (LSU women’s basketball game) where the DEAF BAYOU editor with a group of deaf friends, were at the present.
