This issue (October) of the DEAF BAYOU e-news dedicates to all children who are wearing Halloween costumes on that day of the Halloween – a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31st. Traditional activities include trick-or-treating, costume parties, viewing horror films, visiting “haunted houses”, and participating in traditional autumn activities such as hayrides (which may have “haunted” themes).

  • Mass at FBDC:  Sunday morning, October 21st, at 10:30, Pastor Nick LeFors, Jr., from Washington will preach at the First Baptist Deaf Church (FBDC), 2853 Brightside Lane (we are right next to LA School for the Deaf).  Everyone is welcome! Service is interpreted for the signing impaired (voiced).
