During an emergency, access to timely information before, during, or after an emergency could mean the difference between life and death for you and your family. In partnership with Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Louisiana Governor's Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness is protecting residents by sending emergency alerts to email accounts, cell phones and other personal communications devices.
Help us protect you by signing up for this vital service. It takes just a few minutes for you to sign up on the Internet.
If you are deaf or hard-of-hearing, you can receive emergency alert messages as a pre-recorded video message in American Sign Language (ASL) and a text message.
