God's Loving Gifts

God's loving gifts are the best
The breath of life is free to all
the fount of water brings joy
Look around you and you'll see
The glorious wonders of earth.

Vibrant colors of a rainbow
The ozone smell of lightning
The calming eye of a twister
The lone needle in a haystack
And every snowflake unique.

A newborn babe suckling
A best friend for a lifetime
The soulmate for eternity
The hoary-headed man
The sagacious crone.

The twinkle of an eye
The curve of a smile
The lift of an eyebrow
A dimple in a cheek
The gift of song.

The human condition
Neurotransmitters
The beating heart
Consciousness
Cellular joy.

God's loving gifts are the best
The breath of life is free to all
