Deaf Speak
Lights flipping on and off...WE WILL BE SEEN!
Hands pounding on the tables...WE WILL BE HEARD!
Applause hands waving high...WE WILL BE SEEN!
Feet stomping on the floors...WE WILL BE HEARD!
Hands communicating in ASL...WE WILL BE SEEN!
Loud deaf voices thundering...WE WILL BE HEARD!
I will not be denied my rights
I will stand and fight if I must
Let our voices ring and shout
Let our signing hands defend us.
I WILL BE SEEN...
...AND I WILL BE HEARD!
