This issue (October) of the DEAF BAYOU e-news dedicates to LADBC for marking 30th celebration of its historic organization and running strength for the sake of deaf-blind members greatly.

Communication Facilitatopr: As constant Independent Leader of the ‘Deaf-Blind on the Move’, CEO/Editor Dan was invited by State of Louisiana Commission for the Deaf, Executive Director Naomi Dedual to address an explanation of Communication Facilitator that greatly gives deaf-blind citizens an opportunity for the greater access of communication through videophone along with an interpreter who copies in tactual-ASL from the viewer on the screen. He expects to further push a bill being passed in the near future in order to better deaf-blind citizens quality of life. Let’s pray and God will take control!
