This issue (November) of the DEAF BAYOU e-news dedicates to Franklin Torres of Peru, South America, candidate doctorine (soon-to-be Dr. Torres) and one of my teachers at the Gallaudet University will be scheduled to graduate and receive Ph.D degree next month.

AADB Dinner Fundraiser: AADB President Dan was asked to be Master of Ceremony at the AADB Dinner Fundraiser that will take place – Maggie’s Restaurant on Thursday evening, November 12th in Chevy Chase, Maryland. If you are unable to attend, donation is welcomed and can be mailed directly to AADB Office at 8630 Fenton Street, Suite 121, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910.

DEAF BAYOU at 5!: Since DeafBayou.com first started in December, 2005, it will approach into the next milestone of 5th volume next month.

Being a GRAND-dad a 2nd Time: Oh again, ole’ Dan! It’s a G-I-R-L! Countdown being GRAND-dad a 2nd time:20 days left; Kirsten, eldest daughter of Editor Dan, is having a second baby, due on the 20th of November. Editor Dan (Grandpa) will keep you posted every month until the baby arrives and may consider on new dramatic acts (softball) like what he DID (football) for Landon before so stay tuned for the upcoming showtime!

Dan at soon-to-be 50!: Looking forward to approaching ‘Over the Hill’
