This issue (September) of the DEAF BAYOU e-news dedicates to all grandparents in observance of the National Grandparents Day – Sunday, September 6th marking 36th anniversary…that day has a threefold purpose as follows:

· To honor grandparents.
· To give grandparents an opportunity to show love for their children's children.
· To help children become aware of the strength, information and guidance older people can offer.

As grandpa, Editor Dan encourages all of you taking your grandchildren somewhere like parks, family reunion, & more fun places to enjoy and relax.
