This issue (August) of the DEAF BAYOU e-news dedicates to Winston and Esther Arabie, parents of Editor Dan for their recent Golden (50th) wedding anniversary that lasted fifty (50) years and beyond.Winston and Esther have six (6) sns, thirteen (13) grandchildren, and one (1) great grandson.

Leaving Louisiana: Countdown on ‘Leaving Louisiana – Editor Dan is scheduled to leave Louisiana on the 14th of August for one-week vacation at the Beachfront Condo in Sunny Florida before going to Washington DC to attend Gallaudet University and working with AADB affairs nearby. The headquarter of the Deaf Bayou e-news still remais in Lafayette, Louisiana, HEART of Acadiana and will stay safe and sound as usual.
Being a GRAND-dad a 2nd Time: Oh again, ole’ Dan! It’s a G-I-R-L! Countdown being GRAND-dad a 2nd time:116 days left; Kirsten, eldest daughter of Editor Dan, is having a second baby, due on the 23rd of November. Editor Dan (Grandpa) will keep you posted every month until the baby arrives and may consider on new dramatic acts (softball) like what he DID (football) for Landon before so stay tuned for the upcoming showtime!
