This issue (July) of the DEAF BAYOU e-news dedicates to AADB President Dan’s campaign team: Angie Orlando (Ohio), John Lee Clark (Minnesota), and Melanie Bond (Michigan) for their excellent work for the Dan-Hulk campaign run. Without them, it would be impossible to have campaign run. BIG THANKS and HUGS to Angie, John, and Melanie!
AADB VICTORY: Reversing from ‘Dan-Hulk NOW’ to ‘Dan-Hulk WON’, gove all the praises to our Lord…PREVAIL! At the recent poll at the Deaf Bayou webpage, the final poll showed Dan-Hulk leading with 75% while Jill-Mike had 14% and left ‘not sure’ with 11%.
Louisiana Distinguished Award: Editor Dan was honored as ‘Distinguished Award’ such as Outstanding Advocate along with Jackie (Lormand) Broussard while Maria (Delahoussaye) Garden received ‘Dedicated Award’ at the recent 1st Louisiana Helen Keller Deaf-Blind Awareness Luncheon last June 13th.

Editor’s Note: Looking forward to 2nd HKDBA next year, we may have 3-day/2-night getaway traveling to Tuscumbia, Alabama to join the 130th Celebration of Helen Keller by a charter bus but more talk will be released at a later date...stay tuned!
Being a GRAND-dad a 2nd Time: Oh again, ole’ Dan! Countdown being GRAND-dad a 2nd time:154 days left; Kirsten, eldest daughter of Editor Dan, is having a second baby, due on the 1st of December. Editor Dan (Grandpa) will keep you posted every month until the baby arrives and may consider on new dramatic acts (baseball or softball) like what he DID (football) for Landon before so stay tuned for the upcoming showtime! Golden 50th Wedding: What a golden milestone for Winston and Esther, parents of Editor Dan on the approach of Golden Wedding Anniversary that falls on the 11th of July. They have six (6) sons, thirteen (13) grandchildren, and one (1) great-grandson. Congratulations to Winston & Esther for their true LOVE!
