This issue (March) of the DEAF BAYOU e-news dedicates to Randy Pope of Maryland, a moderator of AADB Presidential debate who conducted that debate that went well last week. We express our heartfelt thanks to him for creating our first-ever historic online debate. Without Randy's guidelines, it would be impossible to have this debate without the freedom to speak out on behalf of all deaf-blind Americans. Let history be written!

The AADB Debate:  There were debate questions/answers between candidate teams of Dan Arabie (LA) – Timothy ‘Hulk’ Jackson (SD) and Jill Gaus (MI) – Mike Reese (MI). To read aloud, visit Debate
To read closing statement from Dan-Hulk, click on: Closing Statement

Newly Certified Interpreter: Addie Arabie, daughter of Editor Dan and Cathy (Ezell) Royer was informed by NAD-RID that she passed test and is now a CERTIFIED interpreter. Congrats to Addie!
