The Heart is Where Love Abides

"Come on," said Jester Willy Joe in urging Mr. ILLY, the Deaf-Blind Clown to hurry up so that the two fun makers could get on their way to a Valentine's Day Party. "We are going to be late if you don't kick up your heels and get your 'hair' on."

"Aw, shut up!" exclaims ILLY. "We have 90 minutes to get there and besides our ride has not arrived." "It only takes about 20 minutes to get to the party."

The two, Clown ILLY and Jester Willy Joe had been invited to the party to help create chaos and laughter so everyone would have a grand time partying. Jester Willy, however, was going for another reason or two. He was going to raise hell with his favorite boozie woozie booze AND while in the process of gulping his booze he no doubt was going to be watching his sweetheart, Ms. JaJoy Perk. At least, that is what ILLY was betting on!

On the other hand, ILLY was going to try to cheer himself up. He had come very close to turning down the invitation because his heart just was not into it. However, his funnyman sidekick Jester Willy had persuaded ILLY to get out and have some fun.

So ILLY had accepted and the two laughter lovers were waiting for the ride that would scoot them to the party.

Arriving at the party, they were met by a lot of wide-eyed people giving the two plenty of smiles and happy looks! And just as he expected, Mr. ILLY saw Jester Willy strode over to where JaJoy was standing with some of her female friends.

Letting Jester take one side of the room, ILLY took the other side and began greeting people while doing clownly tricks. Little did Mr. ILLY know but he was being watched by a very good looking lady who smiled at some of his actions and even burst out laughing a time or two.

When the action slowed down Mr. ILLY was settled at a table resting and drinking a soda. The lady who had been watching him decided to come over and introduce herself.

"Hello funnyman!" she said with a bright smile, "how you doing tonight?" "You may not know it but I have been watching you and I think your acting is great for a deaf-blind person and especially a clown!"

"Well, well, thank you so much for the compliment, Ms ......" said Mr. ILLY not knowing the lady's name.

Noticing his awkward expression, she said "My name is Branda Bridges."

"So nice to meet you," Mr. ILLY smiled broadly!

Thus after the two introduced themselves they were seen talking and laughing for hours with each other. Mr. ILLY was so happy he had come, not only to perform and make others laugh and be happy but so glad he had met Ms. Bridges because he could see they were becoming very comfortable with each other.

When it was time for the party to end, Jester Willy Joe came over to see how Mr. ILLY was doing. They talked a little before Jester Willy went off with JaJoy and her friends. Branda offered to take Mr. ILLY home and he gladly accepted.

When he arrived home, Mr. ILLY thanked Ms. Bridges. She asked him if she could get in touch with him and go out and do things together. Mr. ILLY said they could get together again and that he would like to take her to dinner.

Thus, began a happy relationship for Mr. ILLY and Ms. Bridges as the Valentine Party was an event neither of them would soon forget!
