Thanks To All Concerned
I want to thank Danny for the opportunity to thank those who had anything to do with the “Appreciation” luncheon given in my honor on Dec 27, 08 in Lafayette.
Some of you I had not seen in over 20 years. Thank you for traveling from LC, BR and other cities in the State. Needless to say I was completely surprised.
Thanks also to those who made financial donations to make the day a success, as well as those of you who made personal financial donations.
The very fact that you wanted to thank me for what I had done 20 years ago made all my work and traveling worthwhile!
A special thanks to the committee: Dona Cormier, Rose Hukins, Mary Breaux, Melanie Fachan, Debbie LeBlanc, Cathy Brown and Paulette Guthrie. You were all leaders 20 years ago and you all still continue to be leaders today in the deaf community.
I will always be thankful for your appreciation.
