ILLY: Turkey Me E-mail

Turkey Me

ILLY, the Deaf-Blind clown was sitting in his recliner relaxing when all of a sudden something sneaked into his mind!  He thought about the thought that had occurred to him and thought about it some more.  He explored all the options he could think of!  Yeah, he was sitting in his trusty recliner thinking about this one thing and wondering what to do about it.

You see, Thanksgiving had come and gone so Mr. ILLY was not at all very hungry.  He had eaten enough to be full of food for the day and possible the long holiday weekend!

However, as he sat in the recliner the thought of another holiday fast approaching was on his mind.  He knew another big family dinner would be served so he was thinking about all the turkeys that would be eaten at Christmas time.

Then a thought occurred to him to become a turkey for the kids!  He ran out to all the costume stores to look for a turkey costume.  Not having any luck, he want to a turkey farm and got into a conversation with a farmer who told ILLY how he could use turkey feathers to make a costume.

ILLY left the turkey farm with lots and lots of turkey feathers and some other things such as turkey claws and even a beak!

ILLY went home and started getting things in order to make his costume and act like a turkey for Christmas.  "Who needs another Santa Claus", he thought?

A couple of weeks later Mr. ILLY received a telephone call from a big family that wanted him to be the 'turkey' for the children at their big gathering.  This was his first assignment so he was ready and very excited to do some 'turkeyin' around.

When he arrived at the property for the gathering he was all dressed in his turkey outfit.  He saw a lot of children and started walking toward them but then he stopped cold in his tracks because coming the other way toward him were a bunch of turkey hunters with their guns pointing straight at Turkey ILLY!

Turkey ILLY pulled up his costume at the feet and high-tailed it out of there!

Turns out the 'hunters' were fooling around and their 'guns' were toy rifles that looked like the real thing.  Everyone had a great laugh including ILLY, the Silly Deaf-Blind Clown!!

After all the laughing had died down, ILLY, the children, and the adults had a fabulous time eating and socializing but most of all laughing a lot enjoying Turkey ILLY and his wobbly turkey dancing!
