This issue (September) of the DEAF BAYOU e-news dedicates to all grandparents in observance of the National Grandparents Day – Sunday, September 7th marking 35th anniversary…that day has a threefold purpose as follows:

·        To honor grandparents.
·        To give grandparents an opportunity to show love for their children's children.
·        To help children become aware of the strength, information and guidance older people can offer.

As grandpa, Editor Dan encourages all of you taking your grandchildren somewhere like parks, family reunion, & more fun places to enjoy and relax.

Back Home from Seattle: As you may aware of Editor Dan planning vacationing for Rocky Mountains states, it was cancelled due to his strong involvement on behalf o deaf-blind community, in which he went to local & state meetings. One week postponsement, he decided to take a flight to Seattle and stayed there for a week. Be on the lookout for a journal of Seattle including photos as soon when he’s ready!
