Monkey Bread
How I love that pull-apart monkey bread
Oozing with dark sticky buttery cinnamon
Permeating every sense as it bakes and wafts
Until the heart weeps for its consummation.

Monkey Bread Recipe
Two frozen bread loaves:
Let it soften at room temp
for a couple hours or so
but don't let it rise.
Mix in bowl:
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. cinnamon
Melt in bowl:
1 stick butter
When bread dough is
soft enough to slice:
Slice each loaf in half lengthwise,
then cut across it 6 or 7 times.
Roll into balls (or not),
dip into melted butter,
roll in cinnamon-sugar mix,
place in bundt cake pan.
Sprinkle excess butter and
cinnamon-sugar mix on top.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Bake 40 minutes.
