Orlando, Florida (DBE) – Twice in three (3) months in Sunny Florida was such nicer and sweeter to Editor Dan and his cane, Le Tigre’ V.

Last Saturday the 19th, there was annual Deaf Awareness at the Wet ‘N Wild presented by Florida Association of the Deaf in Orlando, Florida along with approximately 2,000 to 3,000 attendees from across the nation meeting new and old friends.  With eyeful by most on Editor Dan being bravo and an independent, Editor Dan was applauded by the crowd, Yenter & Betty noted in glancing on the crowd.  Later, Le Tigre’ V was accompanied with Editor Dan in the Lazy River that relaxes and swims/walks in the river around the park.  When Le Tigre’ V came out of the river, of course, it shook off the wetness.

At the closing event, there was DST, old term known as Daylight Saving Time but actually calls Deaf Social Time (DST) at the City Walk where is located near Disney World along with no room going through the heavy crowd on both first and second floor until 2:00 AM!  That’s where Editor Dan and Jagannath “JAG” Einhorn were hanging out…to browse 28 photos, click on:  9-0 ROCK!!!  …created and written by JAG

Next day we stopped by McDonald’s Restaurant for lunch and, jaw-dropping, found out there has so much food such as chicken quesadilla, pizzas, po boys, and more, not specifically hamburgers alone. “I don’t really know that Ronald McDonald could even cook chicken quesadilla, pizzas, and po boys”, Editor Dan quipped.

Personally Editor Dan strongly believes that there may have more crowds at the Deaf Day Wet ‘N Wild next year in Orlando, Florida.  Why?  There will also have NSAD (National Deaf Softball Tournament) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on the following week.
