Tuscumbia, Alabama (DBE) – On the 40th anniversary of Helen Keller’s death, Editor Dan toured at the historic place where Helen Keller -- “Miracle Worker”, deaf-blind herself, was born on June 27, 1880, marking 128th today.  The historic place includes two-story Keller home, museum, cottage, kitchen building, pump, carriage house, Lion’s International Memorial Garden, and more.  The pump stands behind the Keller home which Helen Keller learned her first word, “water”; had learned that everything had a name, and the manual alphabet was the key to everything she wanted to know.

Being friends, Helen Keller’s great grand niece, Keller Johnson Thompson and Editor Dan have been exchanged emails for years and finally met each other en route to sign autograph.
