Comments on American Disabilities Act (ADA)

AADB recently sent comments to the Department of Justice about revisions for Title ll and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Title ll prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability in state and local government services, and Title III prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability by public accommodations and in commercial facilities. A Confident Living Program for adults aged 55 and older, who are hard of hearing and are blind or visually impaired, is scheduled on March 29 to April 7, 2009 at Helen Keller National Center, 141 Middle Neck Road, Sands Point, NY 11050.
